Geotechnical Engineer
Dynamic, supportive
The most notable project was Kereru Water Storage Dam. I was a part of undertaking two piezometer installations and reporting. As Hawke’s Bay’s largest dam, it was an amazing project with many moving parts to experience as a recently graduated engineer.
Courage. RDCL empowers you to take charge and challenge the status quo. As a young engineer, this allows you to grow rapidly and achieve goals in an ever-changing industry.
RDCL is a family who supports and encourages each other to achieve their best potential. We bond over activities such as Christmas work do’s, barbeques, shared lunches, wānanga and drinks at Brave.
The most unique aspect of working at RDCL is attending wānanga. Through wānanga the RDCL team has become a close whānau with a connection to the Māori culture on a spiritual and physical level.
I like to reset by going to the gym, or through outdoor activities such as swimming at the beach, football with mates, fishing with the family, and running.
